What does septum ring size mean?
Septum ring size usually involves two measurements: gauge and inner diameter. Gauge is the wire thickness. Inner diameter is the inside opening of the hoop, which affects how close or low the ring sits.
Is 16G or 18G better for septum?
Gauge should match your current jewellery or your piercer's advice. 16G is slightly thicker and more visible, while 18G gives a finer, more delicate look. Do not force a thicker gauge if your piercing was not fitted for it.
Can I flip this ring up to hide my septum piercing?
