      14K solid gold is 58.3% pure gold, alloyed with silver and copper for everyday durability. There is no coating, no layer - the material you see on the surface is the same material at the core. It is naturally biocompatible and listed by the Association of Professional Piercers as an approved material for body jewellery.

      Can I wear your jewellery in a healing piercing?
      Our 14K solid gold rings are suitable for healed piercings. For fresh piercings, we recommend keeping your initial jewellery (placed by your piercer) until the piercing is fully healed — typically 3-12 months depending on the location. Once healed, our seamless hoops are an ideal upgrade. Each of our piercing guides includes specific timelines for when it's safe to change jewellery.
