Common Questions
Why are these sold individually?
Because not everyone wants a matching pair. Many of our customers have multiple lobe piercings and want different sizes for each, or they're adding a single hoop to complement their other ear piercings. Selling individually gives you the freedom to mix and match. Simply add two to your basket if you'd like a pair.
Are these suitable for second and third lobe piercings?
Absolutely. Huggie hoops work beautifully in second and third lobe piercings. For a graduated look, try 8mm in your highest lobe piercing, 9mm in the middle, and 10mm in the first.
Should I choose 20G or 22G?
Most standard lobe piercings are 20G. If your piercings were done with a piercing gun (e.g. at Claire's), they're likely 20G. 22G is our finest gauge — it creates an incredibly delicate, barely-there look and is slightly thinner than standard. Both are comfortable for everyday wear.
