1. Why you’ll love it
Petal brings a gentle contrast to the curve beneath your nose. One half stays slender, polished and round; the other is gradually hammered flatter and wider towards the opening, finishing at its broadest point with a neat, straight edge. The inner curve remains smooth, while the textured side catches little flashes of light.
Each ring is hammered individually within that wider section. A few impressions may be broad and soft, others smaller or more defined, with no fixed pattern to their direction or spacing. Your ring will share the design shown here, with its own naturally irregular texture.
Wear it alone for a quiet focal point, or pair it with your favourite nostril jewellery for a look that feels like you. Handmade to order with closely aligned ends, for fully healed septum piercings only.
2. Material & finish
Crafted from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. A polished round-wire half meets a gradually flattened, hand-hammered half, creating a soft contrast of smooth gold and natural texture.

The photographs show the design and style of finish. The exact hammer marks will naturally differ on your ring.
3. Choosing your size
The inner diameter shapes how Petal sits beneath your nose. Compare the options with a septum hoop that already fits you:
- 8mm: a smaller diameter for a closer look, where your piercing position allows
- 9mm: a little extra room while keeping the look understated
- 10mm: a larger curve with more of the hoop on show
- 11–12mm: a more spacious, prominent look
The same diameter can sit differently depending on your anatomy and piercing position. Choose the same gauge as your current well-fitting jewellery: 16G is 1.2mm and 18G is 1.0mm.
Half sizes from 5.5mm to 10.5mm are also available. 16G is unavailable below 8mm. Check the options above for your preferred combination, and message us if you would like help comparing sizes.
The gauge refers to the slender round-wire section that passes through your piercing. The decorative hammered section is wider.
4. Wearing your seamless hoop
Open the hoop by gently twisting the ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort its shape.
Guide the slender, smooth round-wire end through your fully healed piercing. Keep the wider, hammered section outside the piercing channel, then gently twist the ends back into alignment.
If you are unsure about changing your jewellery or how the wider section will sit, ask a professional piercer to fit it for you.
