1. Why you’ll love it
A tiny detail with a little light of its own. Wear it as a quiet accent at your tragus, or bring a little texture to a stack of smooth lobe and cartilage jewellery.
The entire outer circumference is hammered by hand with tiny, irregular transverse marks: short strokes across the outer edge that catch the light in little flashes. The front-facing side and inner surface remain smooth and polished.
The width, depth, angle and spacing of these small marks vary naturally with each hammer stroke. No two rings have exactly the same pattern; yours will share the design pictured, with details of its own.
Each Luma ring is handmade to order, with closely aligned ends for an almost seamless look. Sold individually, for fully healed tragus piercings.
2. Material & finish
Crafted from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. Hand hammering follows the whole outer circumference, while the front-facing side and inner surface are left smooth and polished.

3. Choosing your size
Available in 4–8mm inner diameters, Luma offers a choice of fits for your tragus. Compare these options with a hoop that already fits you:
- 4–5mm: the smallest options, only where your anatomy and piercing position allow a comfortable fit
- 6mm: a small curve for a close look, depending on your piercing position
- 7mm: a little extra room while keeping the look compact
- 8mm: a roomier fit with more of the hoop on show
Choose the same gauge as your current well-fitting jewellery: 20G is 0.8mm and 18G is 1.0mm.
The right diameter depends on the thickness of your tragus and the position of your piercing. If you are unsure, ask your piercer to confirm your size and gauge so the hoop sits comfortably without pressing into the skin.
4. Wearing your seamless hoop
Open the hoop by gently twisting the ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort its shape.
Guide one end through your healed piercing, then twist the ends back into alignment. If the piercing is difficult to reach, ask a professional piercer to fit it for you.
