Our rings are designed for healed piercings (3–6 months for nostril). Because every ring is made to order and cannot be returned, we recommend confirming your piercing is healed before purchasing. Keep your piercer's initial jewellery until fully healed, then upgrade to solid gold.
7mm is the most popular nostril size for most anatomies. If your current ring feels a little loose, go to 6.5mm. If a little snug, try 7.5mm. We offer every half size from 6mm to 12mm so you can get an exact fit. Contact us before ordering if you'd like personalised advice.
Because every ring is handmade to your chosen size and gauge and worn in a piercing, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for fit or size reasons — this is both a custom-order and hygiene policy. We strongly recommend double-checking your size before ordering and reaching out to us first if you're unsure.
If your ring arrives with a manufacturing defect — a break, incorrect gauge, or fault in workmanship — we will replace it at no cost. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and we'll resolve it immediately.
Yes. A seamless hoop can be rotated so the opening and ring itself sit fully inside the nose, held in place by the natural shape of the columella. Most people find it completely invisible and comfortable throughout the day.
No. 14K solid gold does not tarnish, oxidise, or react with skin. The green skin effect is caused by copper alloys in cheap jewellery — not in solid gold. Your Stepoy ring will look exactly the same in 10 years as the day it arrives.
