1. Why you’ll love it
Petal begins with a fine, smooth curve and opens into a gently broader, textured side. One half keeps its polished, rounded wire, while the other is gradually hammered flatter and wider towards the opening, finishing with a neat, straight edge. The shape stays delicate, with a little more gold to catch the light.
Every impression is made by hand within that wider section. Some marks are softer, some a little more defined; their size, direction and spacing vary from ring to ring. Your Petal will share the design shown here, with a hand-hammered pattern all its own.
Wear it alone for a quiet finishing touch, or pair it with your favourite gold jewellery. Each ring is handmade to order with a smooth inner curve and closely aligned ends. For fully healed nostril piercings only.
2. Material & finish
Made from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. A polished round-wire half meets a gradually flattened, hand-hammered half, creating a gentle contrast of smooth gold and natural texture.

3. Choosing your size
A comfortable fit lets the little details shine. The inner diameter determines how closely Petal sits around your nostril. As a starting point:
- 6–7mm: a smaller diameter for a closer fit, depending on your piercing position
- 8mm: a middle option to compare with a hoop that already fits you
- 9–10mm: more room where your piercing position or preferred look calls for it
Your piercing position and anatomy matter more than the number alone. Choose the same gauge as your current well-fitting jewellery: 18G is 1.0mm, 20G is 0.8mm and 22G is 0.6mm.
Half sizes from 5.5mm to 10.5mm offer a little more flexibility when finding your fit. Check the available options above, and message us if you would like help comparing sizes.
The gauge refers to the slender round-wire section that passes through your piercing. The decorative hammered section is wider.
4. Wearing your seamless hoop
Open the hoop by gently twisting the ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort its shape.
Guide the slender, smooth round-wire end through your fully healed piercing. The wider, hammered section is decorative and should remain outside the piercing channel. Gently twist the ends back into alignment.
