2. Solid gold & personalisation
The number and hoop are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. This personalised helix hoop is nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed piercing.

3. Choose your helix fit
Not sure whether to choose 5, 6 or 7mm? Start by looking at how close your helix piercing sits to the outer edge of your ear. Cartilage thickness and piercing angle can make a difference too.
- 5mm — a very close fit for piercings sitting close to the rim, with little cartilage to clear
- 6mm — a neat close fit for many helix placements near the outer edge
- 7mm — gives a little more room if your piercing sits further in, your cartilage is thicker, or you simply prefer a less snug look
Every ear is a little different, so these are starting points rather than fixed rules. If you already have a helix hoop that fits well, measure straight across its inside edge and choose the same inner diameter.
For wire thickness, match the jewellery you already wear: 18G = 1.0mm or 20G = 0.8mm.
4. How to wear it
This seamless personalised number hoop is made for a fully healed helix piercing.
Open it by gently twisting the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull them directly apart, as this can distort the circle. Hold the hoop itself rather than using the number as a handle.
Guide one end through the piercing, then twist the ends back into alignment and rotate the hoop until the digit faces the way you prefer. Its final angle can vary slightly with your anatomy and piercing direction.
