Easy to wear, lovely to make your own. Discover the details of your hand-hammered solid gold earlobe hoop.
1. Why you’ll love it
A simple hoop with a little more to notice. Glimmer combines fine, rounded wire with a softly irregular surface that catches the light as you turn your head. Wear it alone, beside a favourite stud, or in a graduated line of hoops along your lobes.
We hammer each hoop individually, all around the circle. Every tiny impression varies naturally in size, depth and direction, giving each piece its own unique texture. Your hoop will share the look of the one pictured, with a pattern that belongs to it alone.
Choose two in the same size and gold colour for a coordinated pair; their hand-hammered patterns will naturally differ. Each hoop is handmade to order, with closely aligned ends for an almost seamless look. Sold individually, for fully healed lobe piercings only.
2. Material & finish
Made from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. An all-over hand-hammered finish brings gentle texture and little flashes of light to the rounded wire.

3. Choosing your size
The inner diameter determines the size of the hoop and how much space sits beneath your lobe. Compare with a hoop that already fits you:
- 8mm: a smaller hoop for a closer look, depending on your lobe and piercing position
- 9–10mm: a little more room for an understated everyday look
- 11–12mm: a larger curve with more of the hoop on show
Your lobe shape and piercing position affect the fit. Choose the same gauge as your current well-fitting jewellery: 20G is 0.8mm and 18G is 1.0mm.
Each hoop is sold individually. Add two in the same size, gauge and gold colour for a pair, or choose different diameters to build your own ear stack. The hand-hammered textures will naturally vary from hoop to hoop.
4. Wearing your seamless hoop
Open the hoop by gently twisting the ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort its shape.
Guide one end through your healed piercing, then twist the ends back into alignment. If the piercing is difficult to reach, ask a professional piercer to fit it for you.
