3. Choose your fit
Start with how you like a nose hoop to sit. A smaller inner diameter will usually sit closer, while a larger one gives a little more room. Your piercing position and anatomy also affect the final look, so the same size can sit differently from person to person.
You can choose a 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10mm inner diameter. If you already have a hoop that fits just the way you like, measuring across its inside edge is the easiest place to start.
For the wire thickness, choose the same gauge as the jewellery you already wear:
- 18G = 1.0mm
- 20G = 0.8mm
The diamond-shaped motif measures approximately 3mm and does not change the stated inner diameter. If you are unsure about your gauge, your piercer can check it for you.
4. How to wear it
This seamless diamond-shaped nose hoop is made for a fully healed nostril piercing.
When you are ready to put it in, gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Pulling them straight apart can change the shape of the circle, so it helps to hold the hoop itself rather than the motif.
Once one end is through your piercing, gently twist the ends back into alignment. If you would feel more comfortable with a little help, a professional piercer can fit it for you.
