About your diamond helix hoop
The flat diamond-shaped motif sits across the visible front of the hoop, giving your helix a neat little point of detail without adding a stone or dangling charm. The shape is simple, polished and easy to mix with jewellery you already wear.

2. Solid gold, never plated
The diamond-shaped motif and hoop are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, rather than a gold coating over another metal. It’s nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed helix piercing.

The motif is a polished solid-gold shape of approximately 3mm, with no gemstone, prongs or dangling parts.
3. Choose your helix fit
Not sure whether to choose 5, 6 or 7mm? Start by looking at how close your helix piercing sits to the outer edge of your ear. Cartilage thickness and piercing angle can make a difference too.
- 5mm — a very close fit for piercings sitting close to the rim, with little cartilage to clear
- 6mm — a neat close fit for many helix placements near the outer edge
- 7mm — gives a little more room if your piercing sits further in, your cartilage is thicker, or you simply prefer a less snug look
Every ear is a little different, so these are starting points rather than fixed rules. If you already have a helix hoop that fits well, measure straight across its inside edge and choose the same inner diameter.
For wire thickness, match the jewellery you already wear: 18G = 1.0mm or 20G = 0.8mm.
4. How to wear it
This seamless diamond-shape hoop is made for a fully healed helix piercing.
Gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Try not to pull them straight apart, as that can change the shape of the circle. Hold the hoop itself rather than using the motif as a handle.
Guide one end through the piercing, twist the ends back into alignment, then rotate the hoop until the diamond shape sits where you like it. The final angle can vary slightly from ear to ear depending on anatomy and piercing direction.

The diamond shape works especially well in a clean geometric stack. Pair it with plain gold in the lobes, or add a triangle or hexagon lower down if you like a little repetition of angles and shapes.
