About your cat nose ring
This tiny cat is shown sitting upright, with two pointed ears, a softly rounded body and a tail that curves upwards beside it. Its smooth silhouette has no engraved face or gemstones, keeping the outline simple and recognisable.
If you enjoy animal nose rings, this small cat nostril hoop adds a personal detail to your everyday jewellery. Wear it with plain gold pieces, or choose it as a thoughtful gift for a cat lover.
1. Why you’ll love it
A little feline detail can make a simple hoop feel more like you. This cat nose hoop keeps the approximately 3mm motif fixed to the ring itself, so there is no dangling charm. The pointed ears and curved tail make the sitting cat clear up close.
Wear it alone for one playful detail, or pair it with understated gold jewellery. It is a lovely choice if you like cute nose rings but prefer a smooth, minimal finish.
2. Solid gold, never plated
The cat and hoop are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, rather than a gold coating over another metal. This solid gold cat nostril ring is nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed nostril piercing.
- Yellow gold for a warm, sunny glow
- White gold for a cool, clean finish
- Rose gold for a soft hint of pink
The cat is a polished solid-gold shape with no gemstone or stone setting, allowing its sitting silhouette to remain the main detail.
3. Choose your fit
Start with how you like a nose hoop to sit. A smaller inner diameter will usually sit closer, while a larger one gives a little more room. Your piercing position and anatomy also affect the final look, so the same size can sit differently from person to person.
You can choose a 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10mm inner diameter. If you already have a hoop that fits just the way you like, measuring across its inside edge is the easiest place to start.
For the wire thickness, choose the same gauge as the jewellery you already wear:
- 18G = 1.0mm
- 20G = 0.8mm
The cat measures approximately 3mm and does not change the stated inner diameter. If you are unsure about your gauge, your piercer can check it for you.
4. How to wear it
This cat nose ring hoop is made for a fully healed nostril piercing.
When you are ready to put it in, gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Pulling them straight apart can change the shape of the circle, so it helps to hold the hoop itself rather than the cat.
Once one end is through your piercing, gently twist the ends back into alignment. If you would feel more comfortable with a little help, a professional piercer can fit it for you.
