3. Choosing your size
The inner diameter determines how closely the hoop sits around your nose or ear:
- 6–7mm: a smaller, closer fit
- 8mm: a balanced everyday size
- 9–10mm: more room and a more visible hoop
Choose the same gauge as your current jewellery: 20G measures 0.8mm, while 18G measures 1.0mm.
The mushroom motif measures approximately 3–4mm. Its exact dimensions may vary slightly with the hoop diameter to keep the design proportionate.
Your ideal diameter depends on your anatomy and piercing placement. Measure an existing well-fitting hoop or ask your piercer before ordering.
4. How to put it on
This hoop is designed to remain open, so there is no need to twist or bend it before fitting.
Guide the smooth plain end through your fully healed piercing, then gently rotate the hoop until the mushroom sits in your preferred position.
Do not force the two ends together or repeatedly bend the ring, as this may distort its shape. For difficult-to-reach ear placements, ask a professional piercer to fit it for you.

This open hoop can be worn in a suitable, fully healed nostril or ear piercing.
Possible placements include the nostril, lobe and selected cartilage piercings, depending on your anatomy, piercing position and required diameter.
Do not choose by piercing name alone. Confirm that both the inner diameter and open design are suitable for your placement before ordering.
