1. Why you’ll love it
Nestled within the inner fold of your ear, Petal brings a gentle contrast of smooth gold and texture. One half stays slender, polished and round; the other is gradually hammered flatter and wider towards the opening, finishing at its broadest point with a neat, straight edge. A smooth inner curve keeps the silhouette clean, while the textured side catches small flashes of light.
Every ring is hammered by hand within that wider section. Broad, shallow impressions sit beside smaller, more defined marks, with naturally uneven direction and spacing. Your ring will share the design pictured, with its own arrangement of tiny differences.
Wear it as a quiet focal point, or pair it with polished lobe hoops and a favourite helix stud for a mix of smooth gold and texture. Handmade to order with closely aligned ends, for fully healed daith piercings only.
2. Material & finish
Made from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. A polished round-wire half meets a gradually flattened, hand-hammered half, creating a soft contrast of smooth gold and naturally irregular texture.

3. Choosing your size
Available in 6–10mm inner diameters, Petal offers a choice of fits within your ear. Compare the options with a daith ring that already fits you:
- 6mm: the smallest option, only where your anatomy and piercing position allow a comfortable fit
- 7mm: a smaller curve, where your anatomy and piercing position allow
- 8mm: a compact look with a little more room
- 9mm: a larger, more visible curve
- 10mm: a roomier, more prominent look
Choose the same gauge as your current well-fitting jewellery: 18G is 1.0mm and 20G is 0.8mm.
The right fit depends on your anatomy and piercing position. Daith piercings can be difficult to measure yourself, so ask your piercer to confirm the diameter and gauge if you are unsure. Check the available size and gauge combinations above before ordering.
The gauge refers to the slender round-wire section that passes through your piercing. The decorative hammered section is wider.
4. Wearing your seamless hoop
Open the hoop by gently twisting the ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort its shape.
Guide the slender, smooth round-wire end through your fully healed piercing. Keep the wider, hammered section outside the piercing channel, then gently twist the ends back into alignment.
A daith can be difficult to reach. Ask a professional piercer to help with fitting if you are unsure, and to check that the wider section has room to sit without pressing into the surrounding fold.
