2. Solid gold & personalisation
The letter and hoop are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled. This personalised lobe earring is nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed piercing.

Different letter shapes naturally have different widths. Wider initials such as M and W can occupy more visual space than narrow letters such as I or L, even when the hoop size stays the same.
3. Choose your lobe fit
Start with where your lobe piercing sits and how closely you want the hoop to follow the edge of your ear. A smaller inner diameter usually gives a closer look, while a larger diameter leaves more room below the lobe.
You can choose an 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12mm inner diameter:
- 8mm — a close fit for many second or upper-lobe placements
- 9–10mm — a balanced everyday fit for many first and second lobe piercings
- 11–12mm — more room below the lobe and a more visible hoop
If you already have a hoop that fits well, measure straight across its inside edge and choose the same inner diameter. Select the same gauge as your current jewellery: 18G = 1.0mm and 20G = 0.8mm.
Because letter silhouettes vary, very wide letters may appear more visually prominent than narrow ones. If you are unsure about clearance or fit, ask your piercer or contact us before ordering.
4. How to wear it
This seamless personalised lobe hoop is made for a fully healed earlobe piercing.
Open it by gently twisting the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Do not pull them directly apart, as this can distort the circle. Hold the hoop itself rather than using the letter as a handle.
Guide one end through the piercing, then twist the ends back into alignment. Rotate the hoop until the letter faces the way you prefer. Its final angle can vary slightly with anatomy and piercing direction.
