About your circle helix hoop
The flat polished circle sits across the visible front of the hoop, adding one small round detail along the outer edge of your ear. It’s a nice middle ground if a plain hoop feels a little too simple but you don’t want a heart, star or other obvious motif.

3. Choose your helix fit
Not sure whether to choose 5, 6 or 7mm? Start by looking at how close your helix piercing sits to the outer edge of your ear. Cartilage thickness and piercing angle can make a difference too.
- 5mm — a very close fit for piercings sitting close to the rim, with little cartilage to clear
- 6mm — a neat close fit for many helix placements near the outer edge
- 7mm — gives a little more room if your piercing sits further in, your cartilage is thicker, or you simply prefer a less snug look
Every ear is a little different, so these are starting points rather than fixed rules. If you already have a helix hoop that fits well, measure straight across its inside edge and choose the same inner diameter.
For wire thickness, match the jewellery you already wear: 18G = 1.0mm or 20G = 0.8mm.
4. How to wear it
This seamless circle hoop is made for a fully healed helix piercing.
Gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Try not to pull them straight apart, as that can change the shape of the hoop. Hold the hoop itself rather than using the circle motif as a handle.
Guide one end through the piercing, twist the ends back into alignment, then rotate the hoop until the circle sits where you like it. Because the motif is round, there’s no single upright direction, but its final position can still vary slightly with anatomy and piercing angle.
5. Style your helix
