Your nose deserves better than plated

A nostril piercing sits on one of the most visible parts of your face — and it's in constant contact with moisture, oils, and the elements. Cheap metals tarnish, flake, and react. 14K solid gold does none of those things.

Our nose rings are crafted from genuine 14K gold wire — 58.3% pure gold alloyed for strength. They're biocompatible, meaning your body accepts them. No nickel. No irritation. No green marks. Just clean, quiet elegance that lasts.

14K Solid Gold ✓

Won't tarnish inside the nose. Biocompatible. Lasts a lifetime. Safe for sensitive skin.

Gold-Plated

Coating wears off within months. Exposes base metal. Can cause bumps and irritation.

Surgical Steel

Contains nickel. May cause reactions in the moist nasal environment.

Size Guide

Finding your perfect fit

6mm Very snug, sits close. Subtle, barely noticeable.
7mm Close fit with a hint of ring visible. Clean and understated.
8mm The most popular size. Classic look — visible but not oversized. Most popular
9mm Relaxed fit. A bit more movement and visual presence.
10mm Statement size. Noticeable loop, bolder aesthetic.
11-12 Maximum impact. Dramatic hoop look. Best for larger nostrils.

Gauge guide:Most nostril piercings are pierced at 20G (standard). 18G is slightly thicker for a bolder look. 22G is the finest option for a delicate, barely-there wire. If you're unsure, 20G is the safe choice.

Not sure? Measure the inner diameter of your current ring, or ask your piercer. We also offer half sizes (7.5mm, 8.5mm, etc.) for when you're between sizes.

Common Questions

About this nose ring

What size nose ring should I get?

To find your best fit, measure from the center of your piercing to the outer edge of your nostril. We offer half sizes for a better fit.

Use your measurement to choose your size:

  • Snug fit: add 1 mm
  • Regular fit: add 2 mm
  • Loose fit: add 3 mm or more
Is 14K gold safe for nose piercings?

Yes, 14K solid gold is one of the safest materials for nose piercings. It's biocompatible, nickel-free, and hypoallergenic — meaning it won't cause allergic reactions or irritation. It's recommended by piercers as a premium alternative to titanium. Important: 14K solid gold is very different from gold-plated jewellery, which can flake and expose reactive metals.

What gauge is standard for a nostril piercing?

Most nostril piercings in the UK are pierced at 20G, which is the most common gauge. 18G is slightly thicker and gives a slightly more substantial look. 22G is the finest option for a very delicate appearance. If you're unsure, check with your piercer or go with 20G as the safe default.

Can I put this ring in a new nose piercing?

We recommend waiting until your nostril piercing is fully healed before switching to a seamless hoop — typically 3-6 months. Changing jewellery too early can disrupt healing and cause irritation. Once fully healed, our seamless hoops are an ideal upgrade from your initial stud or L-shape.

How do I put in a seamless nose ring?

Gently twist the two ends apart (don't pull them away from each other — twist in opposite directions). Slide one end through your piercing, then twist the ends back together until the ring sits seamlessly. The join should be virtually invisible. If you're struggling, warm the ring slightly in your hands first to make the gold more pliable.
