About your dog nose ring
This tiny dog head has a softly rounded face and two floppy ears extending to either side. The polished surface is left plain, with no engraved eyes, nose or mouth, keeping the puppy silhouette simple and recognisable.
If you enjoy pet-inspired jewellery, this small dog face nostril hoop brings a personal touch to your everyday look. Pair it with plain gold pieces, or choose it as a thoughtful gift for a dog lover.
1. Why you’ll love it
This puppy nose ring adds a playful animal detail to a simple gold hoop. The approximately 3mm dog-head motif is fixed to the ring itself, so there is no dangling charm. Its floppy ears give the outline a soft, friendly feel.
Wear it alone for one small detail, or pair it with understated gold jewellery. It is a lovely choice if you like cute animal nose rings with a clean, polished finish.
2. Solid gold, never plated
The dog motif and hoop are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, rather than a gold coating over another metal. This solid gold dog nostril ring is nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed nostril piercing.
- Yellow gold for a warm, sunny glow
- White gold for a cool, clean finish
- Rose gold for a soft hint of pink
The puppy face is a polished solid-gold shape with no gemstone or stone setting, allowing its rounded face and floppy ears to remain the main detail.
3. Choose your fit
Start with how you like a nose hoop to sit. A smaller inner diameter will usually sit closer, while a larger one gives a little more room. Your piercing position and anatomy also affect the final look, so the same size can sit differently from person to person.
You can choose a 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10mm inner diameter. If you already have a hoop that fits just the way you like, measuring across its inside edge is the easiest place to start.
For the wire thickness, choose the same gauge as the jewellery you already wear:
- 18G = 1.0mm
- 20G = 0.8mm
The dog measures approximately 3mm and does not change the stated inner diameter. If you are unsure about your gauge, your piercer can check it for you.
4. How to wear it
This dog nose ring hoop is made for a fully healed nostril piercing.
When you are ready to put it in, gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Pulling them straight apart can change the shape of the circle, so it helps to hold the hoop itself rather than the dog.
Once one end is through your piercing, gently twist the ends back into alignment. If you would feel more comfortable with a little help, a professional piercer can fit it for you.
