About your circle tragus ring
The motif is a flat polished round disc, not a ball or bead. Its circular face gives the tragus one clean detail right at the front of the ear, without adding a gemstone, charm or directional shape.
At approximately 3mm, the circle stays compact and symmetrical, making it easy to pair with plain gold, geometric motifs or more playful shapes elsewhere in the ear. Its symmetry also means there is no single upright direction to worry about.
1. Why you’ll love it
If you want something more detailed than a plain tragus ring but do not want a gemstone or symbolic motif, the flat circle gives you a clean extra detail without making the front of the ear feel busy. Its approximately 3mm face is simple, balanced and easy to wear every day.
The key difference from our Gold Ball design is the shape: this motif is flat and disc-like, while the Gold Ball is fully three-dimensional.
2. Solid gold, never plated
The round-disc motif and ring are both made from genuine 14ct solid gold, rather than a gold coating over another metal. It’s nickel-free and handmade to order for a fully healed tragus piercing.
- Yellow gold for a warm, classic finish

- Rose gold for a softer contrast
The approximately 3mm circle is a fixed, flat polished solid-gold disc with no gemstone, prongs or dangling parts. It is not a ball, bead or captive-bead closure, and the ring itself remains round.
3. Choose your tragus fit
Tragus sizing depends on how close your piercing sits to the cartilage edge, how thick your tragus is and the angle of the piercing.
- 5mm: a very close option for piercings sitting nearer the tragus edge, with less cartilage to clear
- 6mm: gives a little more room and can be a useful middle starting point for many tragus placements
- 7mm: offers more clearance for thicker cartilage, piercings sitting further inward or anyone who prefers a slightly less snug look
Every ear is different, so these are starting points rather than fixed sizing rules. If you already have a tragus ring that fits comfortably, measure straight across its inside edge and choose the same inner diameter.
For wire thickness, match the jewellery you already wear: 18G = 1.0mm or 20G = 0.8mm. If you are unsure which gauge you currently wear, ask your piercer before ordering.
4. How to wear it
This seamless circle ring is made for a fully healed tragus piercing.
Gently twist the two ends sideways in opposite directions. Try not to pull them straight apart, as that can change the shape of the ring. Hold the ring itself rather than using the flat disc as a handle.
Guide one end through the piercing, twist the ends back into alignment, then rotate the ring until the circle sits where you like it. Because the disc is symmetrical, there is no fixed upright direction, although its final position can still vary slightly with your anatomy and piercing angle. If fitting feels difficult, a professional piercer can help fit it safely.
If you regularly wear in-ear headphones, keep in mind that tragus anatomy, ring size and earbud shape vary, so some earbuds may sit differently with tragus jewellery in place.
