Helix Ring
£48.00
Simple by design
A seamless hoop has no hinge or visible clasp. To open it, gently twist the ends sideways — one towards you and one away — rather than pulling the circle apart.
Choose the gauge first, then the inner diameter. Whole and selected half-millimetre sizes give you more room to fine-tune how close or relaxed the ring looks.
One shape, three placements
Explore helix, daith and lobe rings styled together, and compare how diameter and placement change the final look.
Before you choose
Clear answers about opening the ring, choosing gauge and diameter, half sizes and finding a comfortable fit for a healed piercing.
A seamless hoop is a continuous ring without a hinge, clasp or separate ball. Once the ends are aligned, it has a clean circular profile that keeps the opening visually discreet.
Hold the ring close to each end and twist the ends sideways in opposite directions — one gently towards you and the other away. Do not pull the circle apart, as this can distort its shape.
Reverse the sideways twist until the two ends meet and sit level with one another. If the join does not align easily, take the hoop out and adjust it carefully rather than forcing it while it is in your piercing.
Start with the inner diameter of a hoop that already fits you well. A smaller diameter generally sits closer, while a larger one gives more space and movement. Anatomy and piercing position vary, so use the size guide as a starting point rather than a universal fit rule.
Gauge is the thickness of the wire that passes through your piercing. Inner diameter is the space measured across the inside of the hoop. It is important to check both measurements before ordering.
A half size can help when one whole-millimetre diameter feels too close but the next feels looser than you would like. Selected STEPoy seamless hoops are available from 5.5mm to 10.5mm in half-millimetre steps.
Sometimes. A simple seamless ring may work in more than one placement when its gauge, inner diameter and opening style are suitable. Always check the product details and confirm the fit with your piercer if you are unsure.
These hoops are intended for established, fully healed piercings. If your piercing is still healing, sore or swollen, speak to a professional piercer before changing the jewellery.
14ct solid gold is suitable for regular wear, but comfort depends on the correct fit and a healed piercing. Clean the jewellery as recommended, check the join occasionally and follow any advice given by your piercer.
Options vary by product, but selected seamless hoops are available in yellow, white and rose gold, with whole and half-millimetre inner diameters. Check the individual product page for the current gauge, size and colour combinations.
