Conch Ring Size Guide
Inner conch vs outer conch:different sizes
The conch is one of the larger areas of ear cartilage, so hoops tend to be bigger than for helix or tragus piercings. Your ideal size depends on whether you have an inner or outer conch piercing.
Not sure inner or outer? Inner conch piercings sit in the centre bowl of the ear. Outer conch piercings are in the flat area between the helix and the inner conch. Our conch piercing guide has diagrams to help you identify which you have.

Common Questions
Can I wear a hoop in my conch piercing?
Yes — once your conch is fully healed (typically 6-12 months). Most conch piercings start with a stud for the healing period, then switch to a hoop. Our seamless hoops are designed specifically for this transition. The hoop wraps around the outer edge of your ear, creating one of the most striking piercing looks.
Is a conch hoop comfortable?
Very — once you get the right size. A hoop that's too small will press against the ear edge; too large and it can catch on things. Our half-size options (8.5mm, 9.5mm, etc.) help you find that sweet spot. 14K gold is also lightweight, so you'll barely feel it once it's in.
Will a conch ring interfere with earbuds?
A conch hoop sits on the outer rim of the ear, so it generally doesn't interfere with earbuds or in-ear headphones. However, over-ear headphones may press against it, especially in the early days. Ear anatomy varies, so it depends on your individual ear shape.
