1. Why you’ll love it
For the days when you want a little more than a single hoop. Glimmer Double creates two fine gold arcs around your earlobe, with one spiral passing through a single healed piercing. You get the look of stacked lobe hoops in one piece.
Every impression is made by hand, all around the wire. The marks vary in size, depth and direction, giving this 14ct solid gold double lobe ring its softly changing shine. No two hammered patterns are exactly alike.
Wear it on its own, or pair it with a simple stud in another lobe piercing. It is a small detail that adds texture without an extra charm or stone.

Made from 14ct solid gold, never plated or gold-filled, with an all-over hand-hammered finish.

Your handmade gold double hoop earring will have its own texture. The photographs show the style of finish rather than an identical pattern.
3. Choosing your size & spiral direction
The right diameter depends on where your piercing sits and how much space the two loops need around your earlobe. A close fit should follow the lobe without pinching or pulling it.
- Inner diameter: the space inside each loop, not the total width of both hoops. Choose from 8–15mm.
- Gauge: the wire thickness. Choose the gauge that matches your piercing: 18G is 1.0mm and 20G is 0.8mm.
A lobe hoop that already fits can help you compare diameters, but the second loop changes how a double spiral sits. A model’s size will not necessarily give you the same fit.
How do I choose left-hand or right-hand? Start with the ear you want to wear it on. These names describe the winding of the spiral; they are not an automatic left-ear or right-ear match.
Please tell us which ear you will wear it on and, if you have a preference, whether you normally insert your jewellery from the front or the back. We can confirm the spiral version for your intended placement before you order. If you would like one on each ear, tell us you are ordering a pair so we can help you confirm both directions.
4. Wearing your double lobe hoop
Glimmer Double is one continuous spiral. Guide one end into your fully healed lobe piercing, then gently rotate the piece along its winding until the two loops sit beside each other around the earlobe.
The left-hand and right-hand versions wind in opposite directions. Follow the curve of your piece rather than pulling the coils apart or trying to bring the ends together.
If you are unsure about fitting it, ask a professional piercer to help. Stop if it does not move comfortably rather than forcing the ring through.
